1. Arrival / Departure

Until when is an arrival possible?

Arrivals are possible from 4:30 p.m.

By when must the latest be departed?

Departure no later than 9:30 a.m.

 

2. Special requests and ancillary agreements

are basically possible. They require written confirmation from the landlord. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited throughout the property.

Children only from 10 years.

 

2. Payment

The rental contract becomes valid when the down payment has been credited to the lessor's account. The deposit of  EUR 500,- is due with the last payment. All prices include VAT. If the payment deadlines are not met, the landlord can withdraw from the contract. Failure to pay is considered withdrawal and entitles the tenant to re-rent. Reimbursement of services that have been paid for but not used is not possible. In the event of early departure or late arrival, the rental price minus the city tax will be charged.

 A deposit is required for the reservation (within one week). The binding confirmation of the booking takes place after receipt of the deposit.

 The tenancy includes the house as described on our website or verbally communicated. The operating costs (water, electricity, heating, WLAN) are included in the rent.

The rental contract is concluded when you return a signed copy to us within 7 days (also by e-mail). Until then, the booking is reserved. After this time has elapsed without your reply, we reserve the right to re-rent without prior notice. 

It is advisable to take out travel cancellation insurance in the event that you are unable to travel due to personal illness.

3. Withdrawal

You can withdraw from the contract at any time.
The withdrawal must be made in writing and is effective from the date on which it is received by the lessor. In the event of withdrawal, you are obliged to compensate us for the loss of rent. Amounts already paid in will be offset as follows:

  • from the day of the booking confirmation by the landlord to the 31st day before the start of the rental Full repayment of all services already paid by you.

  • from the 30th day to the 25th day before the start of the rental amount of the deposit

  • from the 24th day to the 20th day before the start of the rental period 50% of the total price

  • from the 19th day to the 8th day before the start of the rental period 80% of the total price

If you cancel less than eight days before the start of the rental period, the full rental price must be paid.

 

5. Renter's Obligations

The tenant undertakes to treat the rented items (holiday home, inventory and outdoor facilities) carefully and with care. If damage occurs to the holiday home and/or its inventory during the tenancy, the tenant is obliged to report this to the owner immediately.

Deficiencies and damage already noticed upon arrival must be reported to the owner immediately, otherwise the tenant is liable for these damages. A reasonable period of time must be granted for the elimination of damage and defects.
Claims from complaints that are not reported immediately on site are excluded. Complaints received by the landlord at the end of the stay or after leaving the holiday home are also excluded from compensation.

In the event of any disruptions in performance, the lessee is obliged to do everything within the scope of his legal obligation to help remedy the disruption and to minimize any damage that may have occurred.
On the day of departure, the tenant must remove personal items.

 

6. Privacy

The tenant agrees that necessary data about his person will be stored and deleted as part of the contract concluded with him. All personal data is treated with absolute confidentiality.

 

7. Liability

The tender was created to the best of our knowledge. We are not liable for any influence on the rented property by force majeure, by power and water failures customary in the country and by storms. Likewise, there is no liability in the event of unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances such as official orders, sudden construction sites or disruptions caused by natural and local events. However, the landlord is happy to help with solving the problems (as far as this is possible).
The arrival and departure of the tenant is his own responsibility and liability. The landlord is not liable for personal belongings in the event of theft or fire. The tenant is fully liable for willful destruction or damage.

8. Content of the online offer

In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites that are outside the area of responsibility of the owner, liability would only come into effect if the landlord was aware of the content and technically possible  and it would be reasonable to prevent use in the event of illegal content.

All brands and trademarks mentioned within the website and possibly supported by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the property rights of the respective registered owner. The conclusion that trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties should not be drawn solely on the basis of the mere mention.

9. Consent to Cookies & Data

On this website we use cookies and similar functions to process end device information and personal data. This data does not cause any damage to your computer and does not contain any viruses. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

The processing serves to integrate content, external services and elements of third parties as well as the integration of social media. Cookies make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Depending on the function, data is passed on to third parties and processed by them. This consent is voluntary, not required for the use of our website and can be revoked at any time using the icon on the bottom left.

10. Final Provisions

Should one or more provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining conditions. The ineffective provision is to be replaced by an effective one that comes as close as possible to the economic and legal will of the contracting parties.

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction and place of fulfillment is Hamburg, the place of residence of the landlord.
